ESI Corporation, a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, i.e. ESI Act [Act No. 34 ] of 1948, under the administrative control of ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. Of India, has stated Medical Education Institutions in the country at large. There are total 20 ESIC Medical Colleges offering MBBS Course. Total 1830 MBBS Seats available in ESIC Medical Colleges among these 275 MBBS Seats available under All India Quota, 915 MBBS Seats available under State Quota and 640 MBBS Seats reserved for Insured Person’s Quota.
