Eligibility Criteria:- (a) Scheme is open to Indian Nationals only. (b) Only wards/widows/wives of Defence Personnel from Army, Navy & Air Force from Priority-I to Priority-IX are eligible for the scheme. (c) Selection of candidates for Central MBBS/ BDS seats reserved for Ministry of Defence will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the student in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by CBSE. Candidates who do not qualify the NEET should not apply. (d) Wards of civilians/civilians working in AFHQ/MoD, DRDO, wards of personnel from Para Military/CAPF are not eligible. (e) This facility is admissible for only one member of the family once in lifetime. (f) Candidates should have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December of the academic session in which the admission is sought. (g) Son of Servicemen/ Ex-servicemen who are more than 25 years of age are not eligible. Daughters if married and are not dependent, should not apply.
Instructions:- The following instructions are given for information and guidance of the eligible applicants:- (a) Candidates are required to apply on Google Forms available u/m Website along with supporting documents as given in Para 4 below. No offline application will be entertained. Serving Personnel will submit application online along with scanned copies of documents duly authenticated by Records Office as per Para 4. (c) (i) Selected candidates will be informed directly by the Kendriya Sainik Board, Ministry of Defence, through email and telephonically about the date of counseling. (ii) Selected candidates who want to appear/not appear in counseling should send willingness/ unwillingness by Email, telephonically and also by post within specified date given by KSB. Format of Willingness/Unwillingness certificate is attached as Annexure I & II. (iii) Candidature of those selected candidates who fail to appear for the counseling on specified date will be cancelled and seat will be passed to the next candidate in merit. (iv) Any candidate to whom MBBS/BDS seat is offered but he/she fails to give willingness/unwillingness certificate by specific date mentioned by KSB, then candidature will be cancelled and seat will be passed to the next candidate in merit. (v) All candidates should bring following original documents with self- attested photocopy at the time of counseling along with four (04) passport size photograph :- 1. Deceased Soldier Certificate/Book (IAFY-1940) issued by Record Office and Service particulars book for officer (For P-I & P-III) 2. Battle casualty Certificate (For P-I & P-II) 3. Educational Concession Card issued by Records/ MP-5&6/Service HQs (For BC Pers) 4. Eligibility Certificate signed by RSB/ZSB (For P-I to P-VII) 5. Eligibility Certificate for serving personnel to be signed by CO/OC/Records Office (For P-V, P-VIII & P-IX) 6. PPO initial/subsequent (For P-I to P-IX) 7. Widow I-Card issued by RSB/ZSB (For P-I & P-III) 8. ESM I-Card issued by RSB/ZSB (For P-II, IV, V, VI & VII) 9. ECHS Card (For all ESM) 10. Aadhar Card (For P-I to P-IX) 11. 10th& 12th Marksheet (For P-I to P-IX) 12. Invalidment Medical Board Proceedings (For P-II & P-IV) 13. Death Certificate of the Defence Personnel (For P-III) 14. Gazette Notification alongwith Pt II Order to check Category of Awards (For P-V & P-VII) 15. Service Certificate (For serving personnel) 16. CTC copy of Sheet Roll showing family details alongwith Pt II Order (For serving personnel) (d) Nomination made will be subject to the candidate fulfilling the admission requirements of the Institution/University concerned. (e) Candidature and admission of an applicant, admitted on the basis of the information furnished by him/her and subsequently found to have made any false statement in any respect, will be cancelled and will be expelled from the college. Fees and other dues paid by the candidate shall NOT be refunded. (f) Candidate admitted against the reserved seats will have to execute a Bond with the Government of India, Ministry of Health or the State Government or the Administration of Union Territory as the case may be to serve the Government concerned for the specified period after qualifying for registration as a Medical/Dental Graduate. (g) If selected candidate is refused admission by the Medical/Dental College concerned due to non-fulfillment of admission requirements he/she will not have any claim for his/her transfer or admission to some other Medical/Dental college. (h) The seat offered will be final and no request for change will be entertained. Candidates who fail to send their acceptance by the prescribed date will forfeit their nomination. DGR Website - www.dgrindia.gov.in (k) The attested photocopies of the supporting documents both by Director, Rajya/Zila Sainik Board and OIC Records, in case of actual and legitimate children (including validly adopted sons/daughters prior to the death of the deceased), are to be uploaded with application form. (l) The selection within Priority-V will be strictly in the order of Gallantry awards. (m) All Eligibility Certificates will be recommended by the ZSB/RSB of the individual soldier/ airmen/ sailor/ JCOs/ Officers. In case of serving personnel only (Under Priority-V, VII, VIII & IX) the eligibility certificate to be signed by CO/OC Unit/ Record Office. (n) Litigation if any, are restricted to jurisdiction of Delhi Courts only. (o) Instructions given above are to be used as guidelines only, these are subject to change without notice as per Medical Council of India/Ministry of Health rulings issued from time to time.
Different Priority:- The Candidates must clearly mention the Priority in his/her application as listed below:- Priority-I : Widows/Wards of Defence personnel killed in action. Priority-II : Wards of disabled in action and boarded out from service. Priority-III : Widows/Wards of Defence personnel who died while in service with death attributable to military service. Priority-IV : Wards of disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service. Priority-V : Wards of Ex-Servicemen and serving personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards:- (i) Param Vir Chakra (ii) Ashok Chakra (iii) Maha Vir Chakra (iv) Kirti Chakra (v) Vir Chakra (vi) Shaurya Chakra (vi) Sena, Nau Sena, Vayu Sena Medal (vii) Mention-in-Dispatches Priority VI : Wards of Ex-Servicemen. Priority VII : Wives of: (i) Defence personnel disabled in action and boarded out from service. (ii) Defence personnel disabled in action and boarded out with disability attributable to military service. (iii) Ex-servicemen and serving personnel who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards. Priority VIII : Wards of Serving Personnel. Priority IX : Wives of Serving Personnel.
