Overview: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), conducts online counselling and seat allocation for various medical undergraduate, postgraduate and super-specialty courses as per the directions of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and relevant court orders and Gazette notifications.
In accordance with Supreme Court orders and notifications from the Ministry, MCC has been entrusted with conducting online counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats — including 15% AIQ for UG courses, 50% AIQ for PG courses and 100% AIQ for super-specialty courses (DM/MCh). MCC follows the rules and schedules notified by the National Medical Commission (NMC), DGHS and MoHFW.

| What does "Exit with forfeiture" mean? | If a candidate is allotted a seat in the 2nd round or a subsequent round and chooses not to join the allotted seat, they may exit the counselling but will forfeit (lose) the security amount deposited. |
