Bihar has two Government Ayurveda (BAMS) colleges offering undergraduate and postgraduate Ayurveda education. These colleges are administered by the Government of Bihar.
Admission to BAMS courses in Bihar is based on NEET UG 2026. 15% seats are allotted through AACCC All India AYUSH Counselling, while 85% seats are filled through Bihar State AYUSH Counselling as per state reservation norms.
The Government Ayurvedic College & Hospital, Patna also offers Ayurveda PG (MD/MS) courses. PG admissions are conducted through AACCC AYUSH PG Counselling based on NEET PG AYUSH merit.
