NEET UG 2026 Counselling Process – AIQ, Central & State Seats

NEET UG 2026 Counselling is conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing courses across Government, Central, Deemed and State medical institutions in India. The counselling process is divided into All India Quota (AIQ), Central Institutions, Deemed Universities and State Quota seats, each governed by specific counselling authorities.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), conducts counselling for 15% All India Quota seats, 100% seats of Deemed Universities, Central Universities such as AIIMS, JIPMER, BHU, AMU, Delhi University (DU), ESIC Institutes and AFMC Pune.

NEET UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must qualify NEET UG 2026 and obtain an All India Rank (AIR) to participate in counselling. Eligibility is based on minimum qualifying percentile as prescribed by NTA.
