Telengana NEET UG Counselling 2026 – MBBS Admission

Telengana NEET UG Counselling 2026 will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) for MBBS seats across Government, Private, Minority & NRI colleges. Applications will be through online mode only. No offline application procedure will be available. All further notifications issued by the University will be on KNRUHS website. No individual intimations will be sent to candidates. Candidates are informed to check the KNRUHS website regularly for notifications and other information.

Telengana NEET UG Eligibility Criteria 2026

Educational Qualification

As per NMC norms:
OC candidates including candidates seeking EWS reservation should obtain not less than 50% marks in science subjects.
BC/SC/ST candidates should obtain not less than 40% marks in science subjects.
OC PWD candidates should obtain not less than 45% marks in science subjects

Age Criteria

Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12- 2026. Candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2026 are not eligible for admission.
No upper age limit

Telengana Domicile Rules

You are eligible for state quota if any ONE condition is satisfied:
1. Candidate has studied in an Educational Institutions in such local area for a period of not less than 4 consecutive academic years
2. Candidate had resided in local area for a period of not less than four years
3. Local area herein means the State of Telangana. The candidate should have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in the State of Telangana.

Registration and Processing fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted to a further date.

University Fee

Candidates have to pay the University fee of Rs.12,000 by way of payment gate way and obtain the allotment letter.

Telengana NEET UG Counselling Process 2026

Step 1 – Online Registration

Mobile, Email Registration and Candidate Registration (Payment of fee).

Step 2 – Document Uploading

Document uploaded online by the candidate.

Step 3 – Provisional Merit List

The provisional merit list is released based on NEET UG rank and eligibility criteria.

Step 4 – Choice Filling

Fresh choice filling is mandatory for each counselling round.

Step 5 – Seat Allotment

Seat allotment is done based on merit, reservation policy, domicile status, and seat availability.

Step 6 – Reporting & Fee Payment

Allotted candidates must report in person at alloted college with the following:

  • Original documents
  • One-year tuition fee (online mode)
  • Bond (20,00,000/-)

Telengana NEET UG Counselling – Rounds 2026

Round 1

Free exit is permitted for candidates allotted seats in Round 1.

Round 2

Exit after seat allotment in Round 2 will result in forfeiture of the University fee.

Round 3

Fresh registration and fresh choice filling are allowed in Round 3.

  • Mandatory document submission along with bond
  • Non-joining of allotted seat will lead to one-year debarment from counselling

Documents Required for Admission NEET UG 2026

Mandatory Documents

  • Admit card of NEET UG -2026
  • Rank card of NEET UG-2026
  • SSC or equivalent examination containing the Date of Birth
  • Memorandum of marks of qualifying examination i.e., Intermediate or Equivalent examination.
  • Transfer certificate (T.C)
  • StudyCertificate(s)from 9th class to Intermediate.
  • Permanent Caste Certificate (Integrated Community Certificate) claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST Categories issued by competent authority.
  • Aadhar Card
  • Minority certificates issued by the concerned Department (If applicable).
  • Candidates who have not studied in the any Educational Institutions have to submit residence certificate of the candidate for 4 years period immediately preceding the qualifying examination (dates of period to be specified).
  • The candidates claiming fee exemption shall produce the latest Income certificate of the Parent issued by MRO / Tahsildar.
  • Candidates claiming eligibility of reservation under Special categories i.e., CAP, PMC and Anglo Indian should furnish the required certificate in support of their claim.
  • EWS Certificate issued with validity for 2025- 26 for claiming reservation under EWS Categories issued by Competent Authority (Tahsildar) of State of Telangana.
  • NCC Certificates obtained before qualifying examination for award of grace marks.
  • Undertaking in the form of Affidavit on Rs. 100 /- Non-Judicial Stamp paper by the Parent and candidate stating that all the certificates including the caste and category certificates are genuine and they are responsible for any further consequences as per law shall be submitted at the time admission. If any discrepancy is noticed, the admission will be cancelled.
  • Bond in prescribed format
