MBBS Colleges in Uttar Pradesh 2026
Uttar Pradesh is one of the largest contributors to MBBS seats in India. Admissions to all Government Medical Colleges in the state are strictly based on NEET UG 2026 scores. The state offers a wide network of medical colleges with strong academic infrastructure and clinical exposure.
Currently, Uttar Pradesh has a total of 48 Government Medical Colleges, which include State Government Medical Colleges, AIIMS institutions and Central Universities such as IMS BHU, Varanasi and JNMC AMU, Aligarh.
A total of 5,725 MBBS seats are available in Government Medical Colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Out of these, 15% seats are allotted through MCC All India Quota counselling, while the remaining 85% seats are filled through Uttar Pradesh NEET UG State Counselling.
