West Bengal NEET UG Counselling & Admission Process 2026
The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC), under the
Directorate of Medical Education, Government of West Bengal, conducts
NEET UG 2026 counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses
in Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges of West Bengal.
Counselling is conducted for:
- 85% State Quota seats in Government Medical & Dental Colleges
- 100% Management Quota seats in Private Medical & Dental Colleges
- NRI / OCI / PIO Quota seats in eligible Private Colleges
The remaining 15% All India Quota seats in Government colleges are filled
through MCC (DGHS) counselling.

Eligibility Criteria – West Bengal NEET UG 2026
- Candidate must qualify NEET UG 2026
- Minimum age: 17 years as on 31 December 2026
- Must have passed 10+2 with PCB & English

Minimum PCB Marks:
- UR / EWS – 50%
- UR-PwD / EWS-PwD – 45%
- SC / ST / OBC – 40%
West Bengal State Quota Domicile Rules
Only candidates who are domicile of West Bengal are eligible for
State Quota seats.
- Valid WB domicile certificate (A1 / A2 / B format)
- e-District domicile certificate is also accepted
- Parent domicile proof required for Proforma-B
Management Quota Seats (Private Colleges)
- Domicile of West Bengal is NOT required
- No reservation policy applicable
- Seat allotment purely on NEET UG 2026 rank
NRI / OCI / PIO Quota Seats
- As per Supreme Court & MCC guidelines
- Only eligible NRI/OCI/PIO candidates allowed
- NRI candidates cannot opt for State or Management quota
- Verification done at admission stage
