BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BNYS-2026 admission counselling will be conducted by UG/PG AYUSH Counselling Board, Rajasthan, Jaipur on the basis of notification mentioned in the information bulletin of NEET UG-2026 issued by NTA as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate courses in each of the disciplines i.e. BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions governed under this Act. NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to admission to BHMS course under National Commission for Homeopathy.
The NEET score along with some relevant data have been received from the NEET-2026 Conducting agency i.e., National Testing Agency (NTA) for NEET- 2026 by UG PG AYUSH Counselling Board, Rajasthan.
During the counselling process, the eligibility criteria and relevant documents of the candidates shall be verified and BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BNYS Colleges shall be allotted to the eligible candidates on the basis of their merit and availability of the seats as per the reservation policy of the state and central government. However, allotted college will finally verify all relevant documents of candidates admitted through Counselling Board, Rajasthan.
Colleges running the BNYS Course in the state are allowed to participate in admission counselling if their communication or representation is received to the Counselling Board through the office of Registrar, DSRRAU and registrar of respective university whom they affiliated with only.
Rajasthan has 09 Government Ayush BAMS Colleges including National Institute NIA Jaipur and Government Colleges. Total 685 BAMS seats are available across Government Ayurveda Colleges including National Institute of Ayurveda Jaipur. NIA Jaipur is a National Institute and it's BAMS seats alloted by AACCC all India counselling. Other government colleges, 15% seats alloted through AACCC all India counselling and 85% seats alloted through Ayush Rajasthan counselling. NRI quota seats availabel in only Private Ayurveda Colleges and alloted through Rajasthan Ayush Counselling. Only Rajasthan candidates are eligible for apply in Rajasthan Ayush Counselling. However other states candidates can also apply for private and NRI quota seats from round 3 but preference given to rajasthan domocile candidates. All India Quota also avilable in Private Ayurveda Colleges and all NEET aspirants eligible for it.
