Admission to MD/MS, Post MBBS DNB, and Post MBBS Diploma seats in Rajasthan's Government, RajMES, RUHS CMS, and Private medical colleges is conducted centrally by the
NEET PG Admission/Counselling Board, headquartered at SMS Medical College, Jaipur. All state quota seats, including management and NRI category seats in private colleges, are filled purely through
online centralized counselling across four rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and Stray Vacancy.
Under Rajasthan's state eligibility criteria, 50% of seats in Government colleges and 50% of seats in Private colleges are reserved for candidates holding an MBBS degree from a Rajasthan institution, or serving as medical officers under the Government of Rajasthan. Within Government college seats, 25% carry preference for candidates with an MBBS degree from the University of Rajasthan or RUHS. This state eligibility condition applies only up to Round 3; any seat vacant after Round 3 is thrown open in the Stray Vacancy round without the domicile restriction.
Reservation follows the Rajasthan roster for SC, ST, STA, OBC-NCL, MBC-NCL, and EWS categories, with a minimum 25% female candidates within each category and a 5% horizontal PwD reservation as per NMC Postgraduate Medical Education Regulations.
Fee figures are for PG Batch 2025-26 as per the official fee annexure and are subject to revision each session by the Fee Regulatory Committee. Always verify current-year figures on the official portal before payment.

₹1,00,000 for Government seats in Govt/RajMES/RUHS/District Hospital colleges, ₹2,00,000 for Management seats in RajMES/RUHS colleges, and ₹5,00,000 for MD/MS seats in Private colleges. Higher deposits automatically make you eligible for lower categories too.

Within Government seats, 25% carry preference for University of Rajasthan/RUHS graduates. This applies only up to Round 3.
RUHS CMS Jaipur is a university-run college with a fee structure identical to RajMES colleges — higher than pure State Government colleges but well below private college fees. It is treated on par with RajMES for counselling and bond purposes.
At allotment, candidates submit a ₹10 lakh surety bond. At joining, this is replaced with a Bank Guarantee of ₹1.5 lakh plus a Bond of ₹8.5 lakh, along with a 2-year service bond committing to serve the Government of Rajasthan (applicable except for those already in ESI/Central/State Government service).

A minimum of the 50th percentile is required for unreserved candidates, 40th percentile for natural-born SC, ST, OBC and MBC category candidates, and 45th percentile for locomotor-disabled unreserved candidates, before any bonus marks are added.
All allotted candidates, regardless of which college they are joining, must report in person at the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, with original documents and proof of online fee deposit via NEFT/RTGS.
Yes, for the colleges covered under the Fee Regulatory Committee's approved slab, fees are standardised by course stage — Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical — and by seat type (Government or Management), rather than varying college to college.
Only through the formal upgradation route by filling fresh choices in the next round. A joined candidate who skips filling choices for a round retains their existing seat and is not considered for upgradation in that round.
