Tripura MBBS Fee Structure 2026 – Government & Private Colleges

The MBBS fee structure in Tripura for 2026 is primarily applicable to Tripura Medical College & Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital, which is the only private medical college offering MBBS admission in the state. The fee structure is fixed and regulated by the Permanent Admission Committee, Government of Tripura, in compliance with directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Unlike other states, Tripura does not have multiple private MBBS colleges. All private MBBS admissions in the state are conducted exclusively at Tripura Medical College through centralized counselling based on NEET UG merit. The fee structure includes one-time non-refundable charges, refundable security deposits, annual tuition fees, hostel charges, and mess fees.

As per the latest approved structure, the annual MBBS tuition fee at Tripura Medical College is ₹13.50 lakh per year. In addition to tuition fees, students are required to pay hostel seat rent, mess charges, examination fees, university fees, laboratory and library fees, which together constitute the total cost of MBBS education in Tripura.

The total amount payable at the time of admission for the first year includes tuition fees along with one-time charges and hostel-related expenses. For the remaining years of the MBBS course, students are required to pay annual recurring fees as notified by the Admission Committee.

Candidates are advised to carefully review the fee structure, refund rules, bond conditions, and installment policy before confirming admission. The fees mentioned below are based on officially approved notifications and are subject to revision only by competent authorities of the Government of Tripura.
